Originally knit with Mary Maxim Mellowspun or Mellowmist which offered 210 yards per 2 oz skein at the time. You'll find endless possibilities with the color selections of sport weight yarns available today! You'll also need knitting needles sizes U.S. 3 (3.25 mm) and 8 (5 mm).  Pattern also available in worsted weight.
